Fortune Magazine named AGL as No 2 out of 50 in the Country for Best Workplaces for Giving Back

AGL supporting worthy causes is only a start. Involvement in charitable endeavors also empowers our teams to build deeper connections with both the community and the purpose of our organization.

One week last August, Stephanie Zoretic spent humid mornings in an Ecuadorian village, building the exterior of a health clinic with cement she’d mixed by hand. She was among four American Global Logistics employees who participated in the service trip, one of a number of ways the shipping services and transportation company tries to give back. “Everyone needs to have an experience like this just to see what life is like for other people,” says Zoretic, an agentwho also manages the corporate foundation. “It was life changing.”

That’s why we’re excited to announce that consulting firm Great Place to Work and Fortune magazine named AGL one of the country’s 50 Best Workplaces for Giving Back.

Great Place to Work® analyzed surveys from nearly 600 companies to rank those that best create a sense of purpose and meaning among their employees through involvement in the community. Not only do these workplaces stand out for their generosity, their team members also express a great deal of pride in what their organizations accomplish.
